Hi Everyone!

Kelli here. The show was awesome! We couldn't have asked for a better cast and one man technical crew. Everyone dedicated so much time and love to the production, it was truly amazing! I think this is great momentum for our trip to New Orleans and a great kick off to Sexual Violence Awareness month. With that said, I must get to work! I also want to thank Maria for making this all happen! She really put all her time, energy, and love into this project and as she would say..."I think she is supa dupa!"
Peace out!

The Show's Over!

The show's over. Last night was the last of our two shows. Overall, it was a great success! We'd like to thank all of you who attended, donated, volunteered and/or acted! Though we can't say certainly I've got the feeling this is going becoming a new annual Clarina tradition! Thanks again Vagina Warriors!
Kelli and I are back to regular business for a week. Then we'll grab Lorena Schmidt (who played the 6 year old girl!) and head to New Orleans for nearly a week of empowering, life altering volunteer work, educational events and an all star cast production of TVM. We'll be blogging all along so check back frequently!
In the meantime tell us your thoughts, stories, etc about the performances. You can do so by clicking on the comments button and typing away. If that doesn't work email them to me and I'll add them here mteixeira@clarina.org . If you'd like regular updates you can join a mailing list for this blog. Again, email me to join! We'll get some pictures up here asap!
See you out there! Peace.

Welcome!

Welcome to The Clarina Howard Nichols Center blogspot. This spot is being launched in honour of V-Day, our Vagina Monologues production and people all around the world who are survivors of, experiencing or care for someone who has experienced sexual violence. In the coming days we'll be blogging specifically about issues addressed in The Vagina Monologues which is running at 7pm on March 27-28, 2008 at The Lowe Lecture Hall in Johnson, VT.
A small group of cast members will travel to the national Vagina Monologues production in New Orleans...check back for our stories and discoveries about that.
For now we invite you to share your thoughts, experiences and feelings regarding sexual violence and/or The Vagina Monologues in the comments section of this post.
